We are located on the Fire Island National Seashore, a federally-protected barrier reef island six miles off the coast of mainland Long Island.
The easiest way to visit is to take the ferry from Bay Shore. We are located right on the Kismet ferry dock, on the other side of the Red Wagon Emporium. Click HERE to check the schedule. Read carefully! It's a long swim back.
You can also park your car at Robert Moses Field 5 and walk along Burma Road pass the Lighthouse into Kismet. Fire Island Pedicab is available for those sweltering hot summer days.
